If the 115hp is a 60 degree motor, the correct plug is QL78YC. If it is a 90 degree motor, use the QL82C plug.

The only correct plug chart for Johnson and Evinrudes is published each year in the J-E Genuine Parts and Accessories Catalog that every dealer gets.

If you take the motor cover off, can you see the flywheel? If so, you have a 90 degree motor that takes QL82C.

If you can't see a flywheel, then it's a 60 degree that uses QL78YC plugs.
