1996 johnson 130 sputters after about 10 min running then runs fine

I have a johnson 130 1996 model. when running the boat for about 10 minutes the boat sputters like it is misfiring or dying for about 1-2 seconds then usually runs fine. sometimes it might do it 2-3 times in a 1-2 minute period then will run fine the rest of the ride. had it looked at and they cannot find anything wrong with it. had the powerpack replaced and it still does it. please help

gpmurrill,Does motor seem to do this after it is warmed up for 10 minutes or for the first ten minutes of operation?Not clear.Also, when motor is missing out is it doing it at low speed getting on plane or at or near WOT operation?Post back.

OB,<br />the motor does this during the first ten minutes of operation, not warm up period. It happens while running on plane at or near wot. any questions you can also email me at gpmurrill@cox.net

gmurril, If motor only does this for a couple of seconds and then runs fine all day I'm sure you can see the dilemma in troubleshooting problem.I'll take a shot anyway.check to insure all engine grounds are free of corrosion and tight.Only other thing I can think of would be a problem in the lanyard kill switch.Try bypssing it next time out.
