I have a 1996 Johnson FastStrike 150 that is flooding out as soon as I try to start it - even without priming and having sat for a week. I used to be able to clean the plugs and it would fire up, now its just plain dead. Then, even after being off most of the day it would start back up and run great,

I suspect the VRO fuel pump since all 6 cylinders are flood (ruling out a hung float in a carb).

If I am close to on target how would I go about disabling the VRO or removing the VRO Fuel Pump itself? And, If I did would that solve the flooding problem?

Sorry for so many questions and thanks for being patient with me.
