I changed the plugs, and pulled them after running it awhile on the flush kit, seems the engine is only firing on one side. From the back of the engine, the 3 on the right where all clean, the 3 on the left looked very oily and still wet?? Any ideas, Thanks, Tim

Even though the power pack is one component, can half of it go out, with the other half still performing fine?

Sounds like your shift interuptor switch, it kills one bank of cylinders to ease the torque load on the lower unit while dumping the engine into gear. When these switches fail ( and fail they do), your engine will only run on 3 cylinders.

There is a method to bypass the switch to find out if that is the problem, but I am not sure of the procedure other than just unplugging it.

I'm sure others with greater knowledge will chime in.

If you guys were gonna start of with a part, would you change the power pack or the stator first?

Still waiting for answers??? BTW, what is the air hose fitting on the side of the engine with the red indicator?

That fitting is not an air fitting, it is the port used for decarbonization and internal engine tuning. It actually is a primer bypass.

Have you bypassed the shift switch to see if it solves your 3 dead cylinders yet ?

No I haven't, don't know where the switch is. I ordered a manual 2 days ago, so hopefully when it gets here I will have more of a clue about the whole thing. I am a pretty good mechanic on most things, but this big V6 is all new to me. Thanks for the ideas and suggestions, keep them coming. Thanks, Tim
