We have a 1996 Merc 225 offshore, ran great last year, now will only pull 4600rpm when in gear, in neutral, it will pull 6000, tried new plugs, all filters replaced, 105 - 110 compression in all cylinders, Any ideas what it could be??? Spent a couple of thousand $$ already and no one has fixed it. HELP ME!
