1996 mercury outboard serial number please help

hello i got a 1996 mercury 135 v6 2 stroke motor and the serial number on the plate reads
06336714 and when i search online i cant find it is there a other place that has a different number is so where please help new the boats

Your missing a letter or number It should read OB336714 They usually start with two letters.
Look again.That # I made up works.
On the stbd. side of the head should be a silver plug.It should have the # stammped in the plug.Jerry
