When I first launch my boat the engine fires up and runs perfect. I can run 20 miles with no alarm sounding whatsoever. I’ll shut off my motor and start fishing for a few hours but then when I restart my motor, a constant alarm sounds and stays on. What would cause the constant alarm to come on only after the second time I start the boat for the day even after a few hours of not running while I am fishing? I recently replaced the ignition thinking it may have been an electrical issue stemming from that but it did not fix the problem. Any ideas?

thanks

what faz says.. if oiler is still used on tha motor do you get tha self test beeps every time ya turn tha key on or does it go straight into alarm? on tha starboard side, justa above tha switch boxes, you should have a small plastic term block.. may have three tan/blue wires on it .. or it may have two tan/blue and one black (all three under same screw).. one of tan/blue goes to tha oiler module.. while alarm is sounding disconnect that tan/blue (jus tha one goin' ta module}.. if alarm stops tha module is bad....
fyi: those three wires are tha only one's that will set off tha buzzer from "motor" side of circuit.. one (probably black, might be tan/blue) goes to tha starboard head which is over temp sensor.. third one should be tan/blue.. it will go inta tha main harness and ends up at tha buzzer
