Hello Everyone,

I have a question I'm hopeful someone can answer. I recently acquired a PWC and Im pretty certain the only issue I have is either a starter or frozen bendix since when I try and start the ski all I hear is the starter spinning. I intend to bring it in to have it fixed. However I want to make certain the motor is not frozen by cranking it. Can anyone please explain where I can get a wrench on the motor to turn it by hand?

Thanks.

Hi at the back of the engine there is a plastic cover that can be moved to get a pipe wrench on shaft

Thanks Chief. I took out the spark plugs and got a hand on the shaft at the rear of the engine and turned it. I believe this dislodged the stuck bendix because when I replaced the plugs, battery and then tried the start button it actually cranked the engine which I was then able to start.

I have same problem, and would like to try to use same method here. Should I turn clockwise, or counter clockwise? (looking in from rear of pwc)
