New power head. New fuel pump, recirc system, Carbs rebuilt, etc. Still will not idle reliably below 1000 rpm.

Above 1300 RPM it runs like a Swiss watch. Anything below 1000rpm it will idle for a bit, lean sneeze and stall. The lower the idle speed the worst, or quicker the idle deteriorates. If you hit the primer from time to time it will keep running indefinitely.

We have confirmed that there are no vacuum or fuel leaks. The only particularity that we can find is that the idle jets are one size smaller than called for? One would think that you could make up for the difference in orifice size by backing out the idle screws but we?re 8 turns out and the problem still exists.

BRP is scratching their heads. Their only suggestion was to install the factory idle jets.
At this point, any input is much appreciated

Check the reeds and the reed gaskets. The gaskets are easy to fall out of place when installing them new.

I have many posts regarding the best way to obtain smooth idle on these loopers. Search my posts. I discuss the screw turns/idle bleed issue, throttle butterfiles, etc.

A reed gasket out of place on these loopers will cause a very large amount of gas to spit back out the front of the carbs. Nothing subtle about it...it spews.
