1997 Force 50 Starting Problem

I have a 1997 Force 50hp motor that has been running fine. After a day of boating a put it on the lift and did not return for 2 weeks. Once I returned and tried to re-start it would not start. Tried new fuel, new plugs, and disconnected the kill switch. So I trimmed the motor up, sprayed fogger in the cylynders and left it for the winter, today I pulled the plugs, put some fresh fuel in the cyclynders, and it fired right up. so I shut it down to get her ready for the lake. Thought I'd test one more time - darn thing would not start. Can this be a nuetral switch issue? Where is it located, and how do I check it? Can it be the coil, as I see no spark?

If the starter cranks and the motor does not fire then it is not the neutral interlock. If it was neutral interlock the starter would not spin. Sounds to me like flooding. If you leave it for a couple of hours will it start back up again?

Thank all for the help guys, I'll got out and try it today. I just looked at the warranty card, it's actually a 1995 Force 50. I'll let you know shortly if I have any success.

New update, Just replaced the plugs, very little spark when I have them pulled and grouded to the block - and then I try to turn it over. Small sparks are seen, with brand new plugs. Should I go for the coils next?
