WE ARE HAVING A FIT WITH THIS MOTOR....IT SPITS & SPUTTERS....MY QUESTION IS JUST HOW MUCH WATER IS THE WATER PUMP SUPPOSE TO PUMP?? OUR MOTOR ONLY DRIBBLES WATER OUT....SHOULDN'T IT BE A STEADY STREAM??<br /><br />MAY HAVE FOUND THE PROBLEM ON THE SPUTTERING....GONNA CHNAGE THIOSE BLACK TIE WRAPS<br />BUT NEED TO KNOE ABOUT THE WATER PUMP<br /><br />THANKS MUCH.....MIKE

Should be a steady stream. Might be more of a stream under pressure in the water. Check it out and let us know good luck

Does the engine have a water pressure gauge??<br />If so, you should have about 18psi at wfo.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

V4 loopers should have around 30 lbs pressure at WOT. The gauge will read pressure at the adaptor plate rather than the tell-tail like a crossflow.<br /><br />Good luck!
