1997 Mercury 115hp not running right

Hey guys have a 1997 Merc. 115hp 2 stroke, engine purrs like a kitten when on idle or slow speed, but when she get under way she runs rough and surges consumes a lot of gas, she gets to WOT but not at full power. any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks!!!

Lack of fuel would be the suspect. Get a new fuel pump diaphram kit or remove the old one make sure gasket isnt turned around. Do a search there are is a ton of information. My 89 did something similar rubber inside turned around.

Thank for the info, im going to check the fuel system for restrictions.
