1997 mercury sea pro 40hp parts, is it a Tohatsu?

I bought a 1997 sea pro 40 hp today and it runs good but is hard to cold start and is leaking oil from the lower unit out the water intake.
Started trying to find a carb rebuild kit and some lower unit seals and they look like a rare breed. Are they a Tohatsu and I need to just search for the Tohatsu equivilant?

No, it's not a Tohatsu, it's a Merc. It's also not a 1997, it's a 1994 model year. Here's your carb repair KIt:
