toss the fuel, rebuild the carbs, install a new water pump and t-stats,check/change the lower unit oil. if its oil injected drain the tank and clean it run the first 10 gallons with a 50-1 premix.
gasoline does nasty things to rubber as it ages.
it becomes very acidic.
if you run it like it sits it most likly will run but will most likly kill itself.
I dont design them I just get to put pistons in them when I do the carbs.

my suggestion for the 6gal tanks is for you to get in running before you do alot of extensive work. you can run the 50-1 one premix from the 6 gal tank.

DC

I bought my first Sweetwater pontoon boat from Cope. Really good people there.. I haven't been over there for a while, but I may just trek over there next weekend to check out the new stuff....Rodbolt has the plan..I'd follow it...
