I dont know whats with my thermostats. The second time now that either one or both APPEARED to have stick open.
My temp gage will normally read around 150 deg at idle. But it reads around 120 when the thermostats stick open (at least I think one or both are stuck open)
This happened once before and things went normal after I changed out all the guts in both thermostats.
Like before I can see nothing that would make them stick. Not much salt build up to speak of. The piece parts look fine.
The design has me scratching my head. I cant figure out how the thing works. The design is not like your typical car thermostat.
Is there any way of telling what the problem is? Or should I just replace the guts again (short money for the guts, but I sure would like to know whats up with these things).
