I have a 1998 225EFIMerc. Last couple times seems too have lost power (longer hole shots, slower top ends). Any ideas were can I start.<br /><br /> Thanks for any ideas!
If all that checks ok look at your boat. Did you add weight or shift weight? Take on water, or other stuff? Is the bottom clean & free of growth? Good Luck, Joe
Try checking that all the coils are plugged in sometimes when you reinstall the cover it will disconnect the coil on one or more cylinders. if it only disconnected one you only notice that the idle is a little rough it will still run relitively smooth at WOT.
