I have a 25 3 cylinder. One cylinder cuts out at half throttle. I cleaned the carbs and replaced the fuel pump gaskets. Did a compression check 110 on all cylinders. I can unplug two cylinders and it will run no matter what cylinder is plugged. Any idea how to diagnosis the problem. I believe it's the Cdi but I want to make sure that is the problem before dropping $400

A spark tester can show all plugs are getting spark,
and a timing light will also show if all the plug wires are getting spark by moving the timing light to the different plug wires,
the timing light will also show the timing is correct at idle and WOT

I disconnected all of the electrical system and reconnected and it seems to be running fine now.

bad connection maybe.
But if it shows up again it would be best to test the inputs and outputs of CDI if you need to make sure all are in spec.
Need to use the proper test equipment also.

Just a touch of grease on each of those electrical connections can protect them from the humid marine environment....glad it's fixed!....
