1998 75 HP "Tracker" 2 stroke

Correctionon last post. This is a 2 stoke, not a 4 stroke. No spark after trolloing for 2 hours at lowest possible speed. Fuse under cowling is good. Motor just died while trolling. This is an oil injectred motor. Timing light shows no spark. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for replies.

Dennis, first thing to do is eliminate your boat from the engine. Make sure your kill switch in your boat is conected good. Next see if you are getting stater voltage at the switch-box, which is that small box with alot of colorful wires going to your CDMs and stator. Electrical parts are not cheep, so make sure you isolate your problem as best as possible. good luck
