1998 johnson 115hp needle valve help???

I have 1998 johnson outboard 115hp model j115pleem 4 cylinder . My idle i out adjustment , can some one help me with the needle valve . How many turn from begin when the screw is all the way in snugly . Thank you

I make it 5[SUP]3[/SUP]/[SUB]4[/SUB] turns

Only seat the needle very lightly or you will damage it


BTW That model number is 1999 not 1998

It idle fine now , but ihe boat is bog down wont go any faster then 2500 rpm , i just rebuild the carburetor , change the outboard dual coil, sparkplug and spark plug wire

It ran fine before until i see the little bit leak at the carb bowl , so i rebuild it , change the gasket , needle i think i mess the float up , but i set the float boat back to it should be which is 11/16 from the surface to the top oh the float boat . Please help
