To those that don't understand it, yes it'll be a problem. Yes, the early models had growing pains just like the Optis and the HPDIs did. We run a 150 Ficht older than that on the boat we use in tournaments.

Remember all motors break, even Chevys. The trick is having a knowledgable tech to help when needed. Not a parts changer.

The 150s were terrible. My son-in-law went through two in a year before he went to a carbed engine, which is still running like a top ten years later.

That said, BRP updated them, techs learned how to correctly service them and they are now pretty good engines.

Just be sure that it has had the BRP upgrade/updates and nobody touches it that isn't factory certified to work on it.
