The alarm stops when I disconnect the oil pump sensor, so I changed the sensor first. The alarm is still going off. I just want to make sure that the only other thing it could be is the pump before I spend more money on that. Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks, but I have already changed the float and alarm module before getting to this point. I should have mentioned that earlier.

The alarm module compares the pulses of the pump rotation sensor to ignition impulses from one coil, alarms when there is a difference.

You need to check for pump rotation, check for a low voltage pulse produced by the rotation sensor, and check for any misfiring of the ignition.

The troubleshooting section of the factory service manual spells out each test.

Check these links to see if your manual is available for download.

Thanks for the help. I went to go check on that and now the alarm isn't beeping the 2 or 3 normal beeps when you turn the key to the on position. Any suggestions on that?
