Hello all! New to the forum. My engine has a miss at all speeds. Tested stator, regulator\rectifier, and both coils with a volt\ohm meter and all are within factory specs. I started the engine with a DVA attached to the volt\ohm meter and all voltage outputs were within factory specs at idle. Increased engine speed to 2000 RPM, and the voltage from stator dropped from 230 to 180. The CDI Box connections to both ignition coils also dropped. Is this normal? I have searched many websites and couldn't find anything on stator voltage drop above idle. Also, for those of you that have a Mercury outboard with 3 bolt holes to remove the flywheel, a harmonic balancer puller from any auto parts store tool rental will work. Beats making one or buying one from Mercury @ about $450 bucks. Thanks for any help.
