I am new here and trying to learn my way around. My motor runs perfect and was completely rebuilt in 2002 and the only problem is after is sits for a few hours or overnight it won't start until i have squeezed the primer blub for 2 min and after that it starts ok and if I cut it of it will start back really good but after it sits over night or several hours I have to really pump it seems forever to get enought gas to start it and I am wondering what the problem it can anyone help me .The primer blub line is new.

It is common to have to pump the bulb before starting at the begining of the day. It shouldn't take two minutes though. Are you chokeing the motor? My 60hp needs choked when cold. I have also pumped the bulb while tilted up. A couple of pumps in the full tilt position seems to pump some raw gas in to the carbs. Don't over do it though or you will flood the engine............Jerry
