Replaced the trim pump motor and can hear it running but the drive doesn't trim up (stuck down). Should I losen a hydraulic line to see if the pump is pressurizing?
I figured out how to get access to the pump and I'm ready to test. Should I loosen the line to the cylinder or off the pump? And how do I know which is the out side? I'm hearing that a bad pump is highly unusual and that a bad cylinder is more likely the problem. How do I determine which cylinder is bad?
