Lightning struck, traveled through up extension cord to the onboard charger and wreaked havoc. Fusses don't stop lightning I've learned. The main engine fuse separated. The rectifier would blow the fuse when connected, replaced that. Getting a warning buzzer with key on. Eliminated thermo switch, key, stop circuit. The pulser coil resistance reads 0.321, Book calls for 241-362.
The after market manual I have lists the stator charge coil resistance brown/red @ 191-288, blue/red @ 64-96. I?m getting brown/red 83, blue/red 197. Wanting to double check those numbers with the price of replacement.

Same motor as mine, and I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck. That's got to be a rare thing to happen and difficult for most folks to know exactly which electrical parts got fried. Hopefully our "resident expert", Rodbolt can offer some wisdom on how to get your motor running again. Least wise, you probably won't get struck again, since I hear it never hits twice the same place!
