1999 125hp no spark bottom 2 cyl

This boat was at the dealer. The said it was the coil. changed no difference. Said it was the stator, changed. Still same. They said it was trigger coil. changed still same, now they are saying its the flywheel. There is still no spark on the bottom two cylinders.

My Friend has been without a boat for 8 weeks...any suggestions

You have a bad CDM module, use the testing in attached link to troubleshoot...

Hopefully you saved the old parts as they may be fine.

Prove the fault following the directions in the CDI guide, THEN buy the correct part.

Then start making waves at the dealer for pushing parts on you.

Thanks for the troubleshooting guide. I will work on this today. Thankfully, the dealer has already said the parts will go on the shelf and its not our responsibility. He's eating the cost due to wrong diagnosis.

When they were diagnosing the spark issue, I had made mention of trying switching some wires around to see if get spark on two bottom cyl. Blue trigger coil wire goes to bottom module, white wire goes to second module. Those wires were switched and engine cranked. He got spark on the bottom cylinder.
