I purchased a 1999 15 hp Johnson engine for a SIB. It's a pull start engine.
The first time I used it, after 15mins of doing 6mph the engine seized. Talk about expensive bad luck.
Anyway, I have started to strip it down in the hope I can fix it so I don't waste £800 pounds.
1) Can anyone recommend a fly wheel remover?
2) I think I have un-done all the bolts holding the powerhead in place, but I can pull it off. Am I missing a trick?
I am based in the UK and have never worked on these before so I may have some more questions later on
