first off some very basic troubleshooting, is the emergency cut off gizmo (on the control box near the key) POSITIVLY in place? is there any warning lights/alarms? is there fuel in the tank? does the primer bulb pump up hard? yes to all these, remove a spark plug or lead and check for spark, is there any? yes to this, then back to fuel system, can you hear the pump when key is turned to the "on" position? then we may be able to get somewhere after these VERY basic questions are answered.

It started at home in the garage I had driven 2hrs to get to dale hallow and it was 17deg, could the fuel have been frozen? It got up to 40deg that day and i tried several times and it would'nt start

i really didnt think fuel would be frozen unless you have a lot in system, check & change fuel filters, dont think thats the trouble.check battery condtion,if it turning over to slow it will not start.quick check put it on battery charger.

I charged the battery and changed the fuel primmer bulb. Starts everytime. Wheather has been very warm latley when it gets cold again i'm going to pull it out of the garage and let it sit all day then try to start it. Don't know what else to do. Hope it don't come back sometime when i'm 20miles from the ramp at dark and its 7degs outside.

Be aware that a battery puts out much less power when cold. The computer on your motor will not boot up or will shut down if the cranking voltage drops below 9.8 volts. You need a strong enough battery, good connections and cables, and a healthy starter motor to have a cranking voltage above 10 volts.

You can check your system using a good digital meter connected to the starter post, not the cable, and the ground lead at the engine block. Crank the motor over and watch for minimum voltage.
