I have a 1990 Bass Tracker with a 1999 75HP Force engine. I am trying to get all of the insturments to work on the dash.

The speedometer has a plastic tube coming from the center on the rear that was cut at the transom when the engine was swapped out. You can either blow or suck (can not remember at this point) on the cut end of the tube to make the speedometer work.

I would like to hook it up to this engine but am not sure how.

I do have this connector on the front of the engine that I am assuming is the pilot tube for the speedometer.

Do I just connect the tube from the speedo to this tube on the engine or should there be another connection under the engine cover? I have looked but can not find the other end of this tube.

This should be simple...

Any help is appreciated.

Just connect that tube in the photo to the tube on the transom going to the speedometer. Down lower on the leading edge of the lower unit is a small, very difficult to see impact hole.
