1999 90hp Yamaha slow speed only

so it has not run for 2 years starts instantly runs great until I try to speed up, It bogs down and will not take gas. Any suggestions? What should I try first? Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

high speed jets restricted would be my guess.
and use a timing light to make sure the timing is advancing as you incease RPM

Clogged high-speed jets sound pretty likely, especially since it’s been sitting for 2 years. The jets could definitely be gummed up by now.
