I'm looking at this boat 1999 Bayliner 2655 Ciera Sunbridge 5.7 L Bravo III MerCruiser 130 hrs. and would like any comments good or bad about it. I know there are a lot of Bayliner bashers out there who never owned or even been on a Bayliner, so if this describes you please do NOT respond to me! I do a lot of boating in Long Island Sound, CT river, out to Nantucket and even Lake Champlain.
I now have a 1994 Maxum 2400 with a 4.3 V-6

Thank you

Ken

Looks pretty clean - I didn't see any signs of problems from the photos at all.

Looks like it has been well taken care of.
If I had a little more $$ back in 80's when I started my first round with boating that was the cruiser model I would have bought as I actually fit in the aft cabin being 6' 2"; a complete package in that model.

Yes it does have very low hours for a '99 and hopefully they kept us with the maintenance if you can see if records exist.

I would also pay to have a hull survey done to make sure there's nothing "unseen" that might come up in the first couple of years.

If you're not an engine/drive guy (like me) I would also pay for a mechanical inspection done.

As far as pricing, you probably need to see what similar boats/condition are being priced at in your area but at just a raw price level, that might be kind of high but with the condition it's in and the inspections come out good, it's worth the extra cost for an almost new boat.
