Hi, I am rebuilding the four plastic carbs on my ‘99 Johnson 115. The OEM rebuild kit has a small bag that contains the new needle, needle clip, seat and a translucent plastic washer that appears to belong to the seat. My carbs did not have this washer and the diagrams I found do not have it listed. It fits well under the new brass seat.

My question is: am I supposed to use this new washer? Or do the new seats just screw into the plastic carb body without using it? Maybe this is an updated design? Please see the pics. Thank you!

Check float bowls.-----They are often warped.-----Do not use the washer on the seat.----Why did you decide to " rebuild " these carburetors?-----Running issues?
