I have a 99 Johnson 115 (non fict) and have an issue using the flip down trailering bracket. For some reason the motor will not tilt high enough to let the bracket drop to its rest position. The motor seems to be fully tilted but when I swing the bracket down it hits the trim/tilt pump assembly. Is there a way to make the motor tilt a little higher to allow the bracket to drop down without hitting the pump?

I believe there is a limit switch.-----Stops UP motion.----Needed on some boats to prevent damage to the motor cowling.-----See if you can find it.----I do not believe that any tools are needed to adjust it.----Switch is item #80.----Cam to adjust it is #51

Ok. Thanks. I thought maybe the the trim gauge switch had something to do with it. I just got the boat and to lower the motor I had to remove the bracket to do so. I’ll let you know how I make out.
As usual, this forum is very helpful.

Found the switch adjustment. Took a couple seconds to adjust. Thank you for the help.
