I have a 16 foot flat bottom Jon with a Mercury 25hp 2 stoke last week i lost the prop while in the river. I couldnt remember the pitch of old prop so i bought a 12 pitch new one. Now motor jerks hard while starting out in gear and struggles to get on plane or move and wraps out and sometimes just sits there. I have tried trimming motor and still no luck...Is something wrong with my motor or just wrong pitch? I hate to keep buying more props in different pitches if thats not the case. Thanks in advance
