I recently acquired this Mercury motor from a storage unit. I have been trying to get this motor up and running. The motor will run fine while the choke is on but dies when the choke is pushed in. I was going to remove the carb and clean it. I noticed this spring hanging on the throttle linkage. Does anyone know where this is attached for this motor. I attached a link with a few pics
