1999 optimax idles good but surges when taking off

just bought motor150 optimax 106 hours put it on 1988 ranger 374v idles good but wont excelerate like it is starving for gas. Had installed at boatmasters in livermore 1200 bucks 800 for labor seems a little steep, anyway , looked at the injector rails see the presure release valves when motor is off starboard side spits gas port side nothing. is the air side supposed to stay presurized? the guy that installed the motor said to go ahead and run the rest of the old oil then replace with dfi oil. I have changed the oil now but havent run the boat yet. TOOk the boat out saturday could not get on plane took it back to boat masters they replaced the primer bulb and power relay. went out again on sunday boat surged a couple times but got on plane boat felt real loose steering wheel was shaking steering wheel went crooked shaking seemed like somthing was wrong stopped the boat. Tryed to take off again would not get out of the hole. Temp gauge went from running temp all the way down to cold will not stay at center when boat is moving in the water. any help would be appreciated. one more thing the back of the boat seems to be deeper in the water nose up took off 150 xr4 is there a weight difference.
