1999 polar craft

I found a used 1999 polar craft 12ft aluminum boat on a classified, its freezing cold so there is no way to see if it leaks,just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on what to look for to make sure im buying a decent boat that i can use this summer, the guy wants 400 for the boat,and it looks to be in really good shape,any advice appreciated as i hope to go see it this weekend

Even if the boat does leak a little, it's not hard to fix aluminum boat leaks... but if it looks to be in good shape, it probably is.

It looks good in the two photos i got, but even i can look good in a photo, just looking for some tips on things to look for when i go see it on friday

besides obvious cracks at the welds, or holes, look for the bottom being bent or dented. even then with a 12' jon it won't matter much.

The guy who is selling this boat said it was a cuddy, does this mean it has under seat storage?

he's either pulling your leg or he doesn't know what he's talking about.
