1999 Sport Jet has no spark!

I have a 99 sport jet in a whaler rage, I replaced an ecm last year, no problems since until last week. I was running wide open and the boat surged forward, and began running better for a couple minutes, The rpms trhen dropped slightly. The boat then began to stall for about a half second but kept going. This weekend I drove it about 2 miles and parked for an hour. When I tried to crank id, no luck. I checked for spark when i got home and there is none on any plug. It could be 2 issues, or not. Any suggestions?

What engine you got?<br /><br />Why was the ECM replaced last year?<br /> (you do mean Engine Control Module right?<br /><br />It is possible that the new ECM you have is bad out of the box. Not common but have seen it once or twice over the years.<br /><br />Check the coil and distributor to start with. Make sure your getting power to the coil. Could be a corroded wire powering the ignition system. <br /><br />Check for power to the ignition system, check dispributor cap and rotor, check coil, and let us know how it goes.
