1st Suzuki 150hp v6 basic questions

Hey guys my buddy bought a bass boat with a v6 Suzuki DT150. Serial #601999 Starboard thermostat was opening much later than port side, and water alarm on right side was going off. We let it idle foar a bit and the alarm stopped but the port side didn't chime at all. I was thinking that star side thermostat needs replacing. Other thing I noticed is that the telltale was flowing, but there was no water exiting the water/air exhaust ports, just comin out of the prop exhaust. Do y'all think I should do a waterpump? I'm a Merc and rude guy so is it pretty similar?

Other question is this thing has 12 spark plugs. What in the world is all that about!?!

when ever you have an overheat problem the best thing to do is replace water pump, stats, and PRV.
If that does not solve the problem then dig into the passages.

Not all motors dump water out of the idle relief ports like rudes, but have no real idea about your zuke

12 probably give better lite off and better combustion is my guess, like the dragsters

Hanks that's what I figured. What is the PRV is that pressure relief valve?

What motor section would the prv be in? Therms are in cylinder head section but I can't find prv.
