Next week I am planning on mooring my boat in salt water for the first time. It will be in salt for at least two months, do I have to change any parts for this short period of time? Will I see any rust in just two months?

Lots of variables there. Where will it be kept, how much of a tidal current do you have, will it be close to other boats, in a marina perhaps. Is there any antifouling paint on her? Is it an outboard, I/O. Do you have a cover for it? Will you be running electricity to her? How good are your bilge pumps, batteries? Sorry, but your question is a little vague. Hey, fill in the blanks and the crew here will help in any way they can. :D

Didn't realize I was being so vague. Not a problem, here is some more info for you:

-I have a 96' Bayliner Bowrider model 1750
-It will be moored at a marina that is away from any tides and current.
-the closest boat is at least 5' away
-antifouling? good question. I don't know because I am not the first owner
-electricity? not sure why I would need electricity so I don't think I will be requiring any
-i have a cover that protects the boat from rain and debris that I will use when it is in the water
-last time I checked the bilge and battery worked good.

I have heard about zinc replacement parts but since my boat is only going to be in salt for two months or less, do I need to change anything??
