Hello Craig G.<br />Your HD25 is a 2.5hp Johnson outboard motor.<br />They were made between 1946 and 1950. Yours was made in 1948. I am 99% sure.

thanks alcan, i put gas in the plug hole and it fired up. i am going to clean this up and use it for a trolling motor. looks complete.<br />anybody got any breakdowns of this motor? whats the chance of finding an impellor? thanks again. craig
