Rodbolt,

In the past you have been very helpful with issues on my old suzi 200dt's.

Planning ahead for a future repowering, what are the minimum mounting centers for the ox66, hpdi as well as the 250 and 300 four cycles, please?

Thanks for your help

From what I have read, the bolt patterns for different motors are the same. They have been standardized for quite a few years.
Are you asking about the distance between twin motors?
if so Rodbolt or someone that has delt with the different size motors and the instalation of them will need to answer.
But I would think that they should be the same to keep from having to rework transomes from all the different holes being drilled through them.

I did try to get rodbolt's attention.

I do need the center to center for twin engines, i know about the mounting bolt patterns are relatively standardized except for the newer 'big' engines.

if the center to center doesn't fit my brackets, the individual bolt pattern will be inconsequential.

bolt patterns are the same. rigging info can be found in the yamaha rigging guide.
tonight I am tired and my head hurts and I have done 7 updates to the yamaha and volvo software and I aint gonna go look.
sorry.
did not get paid to do it either, maybe why my head hurts.
most older transoms are NOT rated for the f300 or f350 motors, call the hull manufacturer with your hull ID and ask them is it viable.

i know a.) the f350 requires a 4" thick transom and gussetting and b.) that is beyond the strength of my bracket.

however, i have seen pictures of sister ships with the ox66's but do not know if the brackets were removed and remounted to accomodate different mounting centers.

i'll go back to my initial simple (i thaught) question, what are the minimum centers for the various styles? my brackets are on 26" centers and i won't derig and rerig the brackets, which of the newer 4 cycles will fit with at least 200 hp?

go by your local yamaha dealer and ask to see a copy of the 06 or 07 rigging guide.
all specs for center to center information is in the manual.
it even has pictures and all other splashwell diminsions.

Thanks, Rodbolt. I'll have to locate a dealer now.
