2 cycle oil

This may have been covered before - What is the shelf life of 2-cycle oil ? [ not mixed in gas but in orginal container]

I bought a couple of cases of OMC oil in 1985 when I bought my new Evinrude 9.9HP. Just finished it up this past summer, motor still runs fine.

hello<br /> I have seen some old quick silver 50:1 that was packaged in the 60's used. I would not but they used both cases. at a minimum shake it well as sometimes the anti=wear additives will settle out. this I have seen many times with some name brand oils.<br /> good luck and keep posting
