2 cyl HP

What's the highest HP 2cylinder Johnneyrude, what years were they made, and are they as good as the 3 cyl. models in the 50 to 70 HP range?

the big V-8's, the V-4's are the most reliable imho.

The bigest Ive seen is a 50 Or 55 hp

The 2-cylinder, 45 cubic inch looper put out as much as 60hp (pre 1985, rated at the powerhead). It became a 50hp (again) after they started rating at the prop.

Good runners, but not terribly smooth at idle - a characteristic of large bore twins. My preference would be for the 3-holers, though...
