Hi, Purchased the old trim, the cylinder attached to the motor trims up, the opposite cylinder has no pressure, just slides, opened the, I would guess the refill valve that has a wire attached, no fluid inside, possible leaked out, if I refill, would It hold and due to that side not working, why does the opposite cylinder still trimming. Is there a detailed video how to dissemble and how to clean out the aluminum pressure hoses. I noticed a couple of boaters posted, but they never received an up-date on their last question. both cylinders are the same. hopefully someone on here has the experience to give me the info or details.

Read before you bring out the hammers.-----Both cylinders trim at the bottom.-----Only 1 cylinder tilts I believe.-----The 2 cylinders are NOT identical.

If it is this style you purchased the port cylinder with wire has a trim sender unit built into it. Also the port side is the trim and starboard is the tilt side

Revised, "R", thanks for the info, yes, I do know the trim is on the motor side, the other is the tilt, but I'm asking for more details of my ?'s, so I don't screw up anything, I will be filling the other cylinder today just to see if anything is leaking or is it dead.
