That’s what I thought. Thank you again. I’m trying my best to learn and understand every inch of my boat and boats in general. One on left is the forward bilge pump
One on right is the shower bilge
Update*One on left is the forward bilge pump
One on right is the shower bilge
Ahhh NOUpdate*
I was finally able to reach the transom hose to cap it off pressurize water system. That image of the pump on the right was filling up as the galley sink drained. Pump doesn’t work so then it overflows into the forward bilge and then pumps out. So it appears the sink is designed to drain into that and then be pumped. It fills up as if it was designed that way. So I assume the shower goes right into the forward bilge. I’ll test that tmrw.
Ahhh NO
Your shower bilge is not working and needs to be fixed.
Yes 100%. Needs to be replaced. I was just saying it appears that all three things drain into that one area circled in pic. Cabin sink, bathroom sink and shower. They all go into that reservoir. When you said shower I thought only the shower. So I was asking if this is normal that all three things lead there. The float switch should turn the pump on before it fills up
So pump does not work, float doesn't work, float is stuck or there is no power to the pump
Learn something new everyday. Now I know. It's just terms, who knows why its called shower bilge, but could be called gally, catch all or other. Most just all it shower bilge
Oddly enough the bigger one is less expensive and arrives quicker.I see no need to upgrade, even smaller would be ok
