Re: 2 line pressure tank

Hello Steve,
I am in Lindsay, Ontario near Peterborough. Thanks for your reply. I have been looking for the info in the forum but as yet am not too good at navigating my way around to find information. Should I search within a specific area or use specific wording?
Thanks,
Sean.

Did you use the search at the top? Try different keywords and combo's but all the info is here, it's been gone thru many times before. Also read the top secret info. Maybe it's in there, if not it should be.

Re: 2 line pressure tank

just watch for a gasket failure on the top, gas will seep right through and coat the can. dad had an old wooden 50's mystic sloop sail with an ol johnny built inboard. our gasket died and when we opened the engine compartment gas was all over. fortunately no one smoked, and we sailed into harbor that night. new gaskets are cheap and easy fix tho. i still use the pressure tanks. one less mechanical thing (fuel pump) to fail.
