2 motors 2 boats

I need to swap these 2 motors on these 2 boats. both are merc's (1) 90HP & (1) 115HP. I just got a new impact wrench and socket set. My neighbor has an auto engine lift. I am thinking about putting a heavy duty strap around the lower unit. Does this sound feasible.

No.<br />Motor needs to be secured from the top so it doesn't tip over.<br />Chain, tie, or hoist it to a tree branch or garage rafter.
