Hi, this past year ive been going thru powerhead rebuild and I just dont want to make a mistake again. question is, is it ok to idle a 2 stroke motor for a long time and keep bumping in and out of gear?
motor is a 96 112 spl. Alot of what I do is off shore fishing near structure. It can be dangerous, and rather than shut motor down, ill let it idle and bump in and outta gear for quick escapes. Trolling motor is in
