With the price of outboards, why would anyone try to save a few bucks buying/using non-TWC3 oil?

Ah....read the post after yours. Man, that kind of stuff makes me hot! Use this new miracle oil and stop worrying. Same ratio for all engines! Rebuilds worn surfaces! Dynomite Oil. Feh!

I could not agree more. I agree with you 100% and want to again state to use the suggested oil, nothing more and nothing less. TWC3 for outboards.
